Hyaluronic acid filler, artfully placed and doctor administered. Restoring volume and refining contour for results so natural they simply look like a more rested version of you.
Dermal fillers, placed with skill and artistic sensitivity, produce results that are genuinely beautiful. They restore youthful contour, address volume loss and refine features in a way that looks entirely natural.
At Southdowns Skin Health we use only premium hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin, and HA filler is fully reversible with hyaluronidase. Every treatment is doctor led and follows a comprehensive consultation and facial assessment.
We work to the principles of the MD Codes, mapping the face to treat the underlying cause rather than chasing individual lines. Our approach is conservative and graduated, because it is always easier to add than to take away.
We treat a wide range of areas, using cannula or needle as appropriate, always guided by what is most suitable for your individual anatomy, concerns and aesthetic goals.
From subtle definition and hydration to carefully proportioned volume, lip filler placed with precision enhances shape and balance without overpowering your natural features.
Restores volume lost through ageing in the midface and cheeks, gently supporting the lower face as a natural consequence and rebuilding youthful facial architecture.
Softens the lines running from nose to mouth, reducing the shadowing that creates a tired, aged appearance, without a heavy or unnatural result.
Structural filler along the jawline creates definition and contour, while chin treatment improves facial balance and profile, complementing the whole face, not just one area.
Carefully placed filler in the under eye hollow addresses that persistent look of tiredness. An advanced area, often treated by cannula, where remarkably little product makes a real difference.
Softens the downward lines from the corners of the mouth, addressing the downturned, saddened appearance these lines can create over time.
We will always be honest with you at consultation. If we believe a treatment will not achieve what you are hoping for, or if the risk profile for your anatomy makes it inadvisable, we will tell you and suggest alternatives.
All filler treatments at Southdowns Skin Health are performed by, or under the direct supervision of, our on site doctors, with informed consent. Hyaluronidase, the enzyme used to dissolve hyaluronic acid filler, is kept on site for safety. We work to the highest standards of anatomical knowledge, using cannula technique where appropriate.
Longevity depends on the product used, the area treated and your individual metabolism. As a guide, hyaluronic acid filler lasts from around 6 months in mobile areas such as the lips up to 12 to 18 months for structural cheek and jawline work. We will discuss expected longevity for your treatment at consultation.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which we keep on site. In the rare event of a complication, or if you are unhappy with your result, filler can be safely reversed. This is a key reason we use HA fillers exclusively.
Some swelling and bruising is common after filler, particularly in the lips. This typically settles within 5 to 7 days. We recommend avoiding significant social events for about a week after lip filler. Cheek and structural filler usually has less associated swelling.
Yes. All new clients have an in person consultation and facial assessment before any injectable treatment. This lets us assess your facial anatomy, understand your goals, review your medical history and ensure the treatment is appropriate and safe for you specifically.
