Profhilo delivers 64mg of pure hyaluronic acid per 2ml syringe, 32mg of high molecular weight HA (1100 to 1400 kDa) blended with 32mg of low molecular weight HA (80 to 100 kDa). Crucially it contains no BDDE chemical cross linking. The two weights are stabilised by the patented NAHYCO Hybrid Technology, a pure thermal process.

Once placed, it does not stay put like a filler. It spreads through the tissue and biostimulates four types of collagen plus elastin, type I and III in the fibroblasts and type IV and VIII in the keratinocytes. The result is genuine improvement in skin quality, firmer, more hydrated, more luminous skin that addresses laxity, crepiness and dullness across the face, neck, decolletage and hands.

Profhilo Structura is the newer formulation for structural support. It restores the deeper subcutaneous layer of the lower face, cheeks and jawline, rebuilding facial contour where there is laxity and volume loss. Profhilo improves skin quality. Structura restores structure and lift.

How many Profhilo treatments do I need?

The initial protocol is two sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. After this foundational course, most clients maintain their results with a single session roughly every 6 months, depending on their skin and their goals.

What's the difference between Profhilo and dermal filler?

Dermal fillers add volume to specific areas, enhancing lips and cheeks or smoothing deep folds. Profhilo is fundamentally different. With no BDDE cross linking, it does not stay in place but spreads through the tissue, biostimulating collagen and elastin across a wide area. The two are complementary rather than interchangeable.

What areas can be treated?

Profhilo is most commonly used on the face, neck and decolletage, and is also highly effective on the hands. Profhilo Structura is placed more deeply to restore structure and lift in the lower face, cheeks and jawline where there is laxity and volume loss.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may notice small bumps at the injection points immediately after treatment, which typically settle within a few hours to a day. Mild redness and the occasional small bruise can occur, but most clients return to normal activities the same day.
